The Woman Who Raised Me, by Victoria Rowell.  CASA staff heard Victoria speak at the National CASA Conference in April of 2013.  She is an amazing story teller with a powerful message for CASA's and foster parents. We have this book in our CASA library for you to borrow.

The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog, by Dr. Bruce Perry. This is a compelling book about the effects of trauma on children and is a must read for all CASAs. Each chapter tells the story of a child affected by child abuse & trauma and how that trauma expresses itself in the child's life.  We have this book in our CASA library for you to borrow.

Joy Ride: Life, Death & Forgiveness, by Pamela Koefoed.  This is a new memoir about two sisters who grew up suffering abuse and neglect and how they were able to survive. Pamela is a CASA Director in Lake County, Oregon.  We have this book in our CASA library for you to borrow.

Foster Focus Magazine - This is a great resource for information about foster care and foster youth.  Much of the content can be read on-line via their web site, but they also publish a monthly magazine for for $39.95/year.
