National CASA Website

National CASA You Tube Channel:  This site has great short videos on CASA, CASA advocates, and kids in Foster Care.  We encourage you to check it out.

A Voice for Adoption: A national organization working on issues relation to adoption reform to improve permanency outcomes for kids in foster care.

Kids Health: Has information on child and teen health, behavior and development written for parents, teens, and kids.

Ages & Stages Questionnaire
:  This is a free on-line tool for parents/family/caregivers that compares a child's development with recognized benchmarks. This is a pilot project of the Early Intervention Program, University of Oregon, and Oregon Department of Education.

Camp to Belong - Oregon
: Camp To Belong reunites brothers and sisters in a week-long camp experience that helps them connect in very powerful and positive ways. It fosters their connection and belonging and provides many positive memories for them to draw strength from. To date over 700 Oregon foster kids have attended this camp.

Oregon Foster Youth Connection Website:  A great resource for Oregon CASAs and foster kids. Oregon Foster Youth Connection (OFYC), a program of Children First for Oregon (CFFO), is a statewide, youth led, advocacy group of current and former foster youth between 14 – 25 years of age. OFYC is completely youth led, meaning youth members shape every aspect of what OFYC is, how it is structured, which policies to work on, and what activities to participate in.

Child Trauma Academy
: This is Dr. Bruce Perry's Center in Houston Texas. Lots of good information/reading on trauma and child development.

Oregon Crime Victims Law Center
: Provide free legal representation for children who need assistance in asserting their rights as crime victims in criminal cases. They also provide free training for attorney's who represent children.
