Become a Volunteer

CASA volunteers are ordinary individuals making an extraordinary impact in the lives of abused children. You don’t have to be a lawyer or social worker; we’re simply looking for people with a desire to help abused and neglected children.
For a few hours a month of your time, you could make a lasting difference for a child in need. You have the power to change a child’s life. Be the difference
Get started today! By following these three easy steps, you can join our 45 active volunteers who provide critical advocacy for child victims of abuse, neglect or abandonment.
Contact Susan Baldwin at 541-386-3468 or to schedule an orientation appointment at our office. You will get all of the information you need to get on your way to making a difference for an abused child.
You’ll be introduced to our program and find out the requirements for becoming a court-appointed advocate volunteer. Have all of your questions answered and begin your paperwork to enroll in Advocacy University (AU).
Our 30-hour training course is offered every January, May, and October and will prepare you for this incredible volunteer experience. Our next training course is scheduled for May, 2013.  You must attend an orientation session prior to beginning AU.
